What are you most excited about with MAX:30?

I’m excited to see more people get healthy, fit and motivated. I’m also excited we have a low-impact modifier, something we didn’t have with INSANITY®. But most of all, I’m excited that so many new people are going to join the INSANITY family.

What inspired you to create the program?

When I created INSANITY, it was the first fitness program that showed what happens if you work crazy hard – you get amazing results. But with MAX:30, I took some of what I missed with INSANITY like upper body strength training, and made it separate from the other workouts which are more cardio based.

If you could sum up MAX:30 with one word, what would it be?

Plateau-buster.

Who’s the ideal MAX:30 customer?

It’s about MAXING OUT, so it’s for someone who’s mentally strong. On the other hand, it’s also for someone who has never really been challenged to overcome physical obstacles. The bottom line is MAX:30 is for anyone who wants to make themselves better—every day.

What do you do when you’re having trouble beating your MAX OUT time?

First and foremost, there’s no such thing as failure with this program. Success happens the moment you push play. It takes a tremendous amount of courage to beat your MAX-OUT time. Ask yourself if you tried your hardest. If you answered yes, you succeeded. If you didn’t or felt lazy, you need to change up your mindset. It’s your mind versus your body—which one will win?

How would you pitch MAX:30 in 30 seconds?

Do you want to get fit? Can you do thirty minutes a day? Do you want to feel successful every day during your fitness journey? Do you want a program with a low-impact modifier in case you run into trouble? Would you want to do a program like that? If you answered yes to all those questions, then MAX:30 is for you.

Who or what motivates you to succeed?

My amazing grandfather. He would take me on walks. He was 72, but would always walk so fast. He taught me how important it is to always be in peak physical condition. He said at some point your body won’t look as good, but if you’re in the best shape possible, you can push forward and succeed.

Of all your accomplishments, what are you most proud of?

I’m proud that I’ve been able to successfully create different types of programs to inspire and change people’s lives. Hip Hop Abs® and Rockin’ Body® are centered on dancing and fun. INSANITY: THE ASYLUM® is complete sports training. FOCUS T25® crosses all platforms. And now there’s INSANITY MAX:30 which is just ridiculously hard. I like that I’m not the kind of trainer who can be pushed into a box with just one style.
